Ph.D. in regenerative medicine, biomedical engineering, bioengineering, developmental biology, animal science, or a closely related discipline.
Position Summary
This is a nine-month, non-tenure track appointment, animal science lecturer (95% teaching) position in the Department of Animal and Dairy Science in collaboration with the Regenerative Bio Science Center, College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at the University of Georgia. The position will be located at the UGA Athens Campus.
The main responsibility of this position is teaching. Research and administrative duties are not required. The teaching assignment is flexible and will be determined in alignment with program needs, departmental priorities, available resources, and the professional interests and goals of both the Regenerative Bioscience program and the strengths of the selected candidate. This position will primarily teach within the RBIO undergraduate program, with additional opportunities to contribute to graduate-level instruction and course development. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening RBIO curriculum by teaching existing courses and developing new classes that align with their expertise and programmatic needs. This could include, but is not limited to, cell and gene therapies, tissue engineering, cell manufacturing, experiential laboratory courses, public service-oriented learning experiences, senior capstone course, or other relevant regenerative bioscience areas of focus. The faculty member is expected to advise and mentor students, enhance career readiness pathways, and foster meaningful industry or community partnerships.

This is a renewable position, with the opportunity for promotion to Senior Lecturer based on performance and institutional guidelines. - Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based teaching practices and innovative pedagogical approaches, as well as ongoing professional development to continually improve their teaching effectiveness.
- Candidates with expertise in regenerative bioscience curriculum development, including but not limited to stem cell therapies, tissue engineering, and cell manufacturing, are especially encouraged to apply.
- Candidates must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skill and a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education.
