Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Team Lead Bone Marrow Transplant - Hiring Bonus Eligible!
SSM Health, in partnership with SLUCarethe academic medical practice of SSM Health Saint Louis University is recruiting for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to be our Team Lead in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT).
We are looking for an NP/PA with strong clinical expertise, a collaborative approach, and a passion for supporting the success of others. Formal leadership experience is not required. We value individuals who have demonstrated leadership through a variety of experiences, including informal leadership roles, committee participation, mentorship, and other contributions that advance team and organizational goals.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role overseeing an APP team of 14. Work within a high-acuity, specialized program delivering cutting-edge cellular therapy and transplant care in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Currently provide over 100 (Allogeneic and Autologous combined) transplants yearly. We also provide for a growing number of patients receiving cellular therapies via CAR-T or BiTEs. Established in 2012 as the regions first (at the time) outpatient transplant center, the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy service line has seen tremendous growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years' current experience as an NP or PA in BMT.
- Experience caring for patients with malignant hematologic conditions.
- Experience with cellular therapy.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current Missouri NP/RN or PA licensure or ability to obtain.
Position Highlights:
- Mix of clinical and dedicated administrative time.
- Schedule of four (4) 10-hour shifts per week, with weekend and holiday rotation of 1:5
- Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies and stem cell transplants
